This medicinal complete food promotes an acidic urine pH, which reduces the likelihood of struvite stones forming. The recipe also contains less magnesium and has a balanced protein and phosphorus content. These form the basis for the formation of struvite stones. A phytogenic complex adds cranberry and nettle to every crunchy kibble, which are traditionally used for urinary tract inflammation.

Cranberry: Cranberry from North America has been used there for centuries thanks to its beneficial properties. Cranberry is traditionally used as a complementary remedy for urinary tract diseases.
Balanced mineral content: The recipe contains balanced minerals chosen specifically for the condition. Magnesium and phosphorus have been reduced as required. A slightly increased sodium content supports the cat's drinking behaviour and therefore flushing of the urinary tract.
Bladder pH control: Thanks to the optimised ratio of minerals and ingredients that make the urine acidic, the pH of the bladder is lowered. This helps the urine reach an acidic pH (6.0–6.5), which in turn prevents new bladder stones from forming and dissolves existing struvite stones through diet.
