1. Choosing goods and making a purchase in the Kuivtoit.ee online shop

In the left-hand menu you can choose the pet food section you need: CAT FOOD, DOG FOOD, RABBIT FOOD, which in turn are divided into categories by the animal's age, size, composition or special needs. Besides their purpose, products can also be chosen by brand.

Clicking on the logo of a brand you are interested in displays all products of that brand. There you will also find a short introduction to the brand.

Discounted products are listed in a separate menu.

Some products are available in different package sizes. Clicking on the package size you are interested in displays the price of the product in that size.

Each product comes with a picture of the package, product information and a price.

In the Kuivtoit.ee online shop you can make purchases both as a guest and as a registered customer. If you wish to become our regular customer, we recommend registering. This makes purchasing quick and easy and gives you access to your order history and order status. Registered customers can also take part in campaigns.

By clicking on the desired item you can, if you wish to buy it, add it to the shopping cart and increase or decrease quantities (+, - buttons).

By clicking on the "shopping cart" in the header you can view the contents of the cart and continue ordering.

An order is considered placed once it has been confirmed. Before confirming, please review the contents of the shopping cart once more; you can still correct it if necessary. If you have additional wishes or comments regarding the delivery time, place or anything else, please write them in the additional comments box.

By confirming the order you also automatically assume an obligation to purchase.

The price on the order is final; no additional charges such as a transport fee apply.

An invoice for the order is then issued to you, which will also arrive in your e-mail inbox.

1.1 Terms of sale

  1. The online shop is liable for any non-conformity of the goods sold to the buyer with the terms of the contract, or for a defect that already existed at the moment the item was handed over and that becomes apparent within two years of the goods being handed over to the buyer. During the first year after the item has been handed over to the buyer, the defect is presumed to have existed at the time of handover. For perishable products we recommend submitting a claim as soon as possible, as it may later become impossible to establish the defect.

2. Entry into force of the contract

The contract enters into force from the moment the amount payable is received on the bank account of the kuivtoit.ee online shop.

3. Purchase transaction and payment

To make a purchase, open the shopping cart, where you will find the products you have chosen.

Prices in the Kuivtoit.ee online shop include courier delivery to the address chosen by the customer. Your choices are saved by clicking the continue button.

Fill in the details required to make the purchase. To confirm the order you must agree to these terms of purchase by ticking the corresponding box.

If you have a discount coupon, enter the coupon code in the corresponding box and save it.

After the order has been confirmed, an invoice for the order is drawn up and the payment options are shown on the screen: payment by bank link, by credit card or by bank transfer based on the invoice.

The online shop's payment intermediary is Montonio Finance. The following payment options are available:
Estonian bank links: Swedbank, SEB, Luminor, LHV, Coop Pank
Visa/Mastercard card payments

Eesti Vallasvara OÜ (Kuivtoit.ee) is the controller of personal data; we transfer the personal data needed to carry out payments to Montonio as the processor.

Once the order has been confirmed and the invoice received, the Buyer has an obligation to pay.

The generated invoice contains the details needed to make the payment. The invoice will arrive in your e-mail inbox.

Registered customers can also access all their orders in the kuivtoit.ee web environment.

4. Transport of goods to the Buyer

Ordered goods are delivered to the buyer anywhere in Estonia within 2-3 working days to the address given in the order, free of charge for orders from 25 eur. Unfortunately we do not fulfil orders under 15 eur, and a shipping fee of 3 eur is added to orders of 15-25 eur.

5. Delivery time

Only paid orders are processed.

The courier company delivers the goods to the Buyer within Estonia within 2-3 working days.

Where possible we also send smaller parcels to Itella Smartpost, Omniva and DPD parcel machines. Please write such a request together with the location of a suitable parcel machine in the comments.

On the day the goods are due to arrive, please keep your phone nearby and switched on. The courier will call you in advance and agree on a delivery time.

Outside Tallinn, goods are as a rule delivered between 8.00 and 17.00. If you wish to receive the goods at another time, please write this in the additional comments when placing the order.

We cannot guarantee that these wishes will be met, but the courier company will take them into account where possible.

If you are not able to receive the goods at home during the day, please consider having them delivered to, for example, your workplace.

6. Submitting claims, cancelling an order and returning non-conforming products

Eesti Vallasvara OÜ is responsible for the conformity of the products sold in the Kuivtoit.ee online shop.

It is the Online Shop's obligation to rebut this presumption.

If a defect becomes apparent, the buyer has the right to contact the online shop no later than within two months by sending an e-mail to info@kuivtoit.ee or by calling 5548140

The online shop is not liable for defects that arose after the goods were handed over to the buyer.

If goods bought from the Online Shop have defects for which the Online Shop is liable, the Online Shop will repair or replace the defective goods. If the goods cannot be repaired or replaced, the Online Shop will refund to the buyer all charges paid under the sales contract.

The online shop responds to a complaint submitted by a consumer in writing or in a form that can be reproduced in writing within 15 days.

6.1

After paying for the products but before they are delivered, you have the right to cancel your order by sending a notice to that effect, with the order number and your bank account number, to the online shop's e-mail address info@kuivtoit.ee.

6.2

All products bought from the Kuivtoit.ee online shop come with a 14-day right of return. Under § 56 (1) of the Law of Obligations Act (VÕS), the Buyer has the right to return the goods, or exchange them for another product at the same price, without giving any reason within 14 days of the goods being handed over. To do so, the Buyer must submit an application to that effect to the Seller (stating the Buyer's name, date of purchase, bank account number and order number) by e-mail (info@kuivtoit.ee) and then return the ordered goods to the Kuivtoit.ee online shop no later than 14 days after submitting the notice of withdrawal. You may also use the standard withdrawal form to withdraw from the contract.

Returned goods must be unused (the suitability of the goods may be tried and they may be used for the purpose of examining them) and undamaged. The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that cannot be returned due to their nature (e.g. cosmetics with opened packaging, hygiene products, food products).

6.3

If an order is cancelled in the case set out in clause 6.1, or in case of withdrawal from the sales contract in the cases set out in clauses 6.2 and 6.3, the payment together with the postage for delivering the goods will be refunded to the same bank account from which the goods were paid for, no later than within 14 days of receiving the notice of withdrawal (VÕS § 561 (1)).

The trader may delay the payment until the consumer has returned the item that was the subject of the contract or has provided proof that they have sent the item back (VÕS § 561 (5)). It is important to note that the trader may not delay the refund until they have actually received the goods; what matters is the moment the consumer has sent the goods to the seller (handed them to the post office, passed them to a courier, etc.).

6.4

Returned goods must not be used or damaged and should, where possible, be in the original transport packaging. To exercise the right of withdrawal and to receive compensation upon return, the product packaging must be opened carefully without damaging it. To examine the goods, they may be used in a manner necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item. A returned product must be complete, i.e. contain all items included in the product packaging (leaflets, loose parts, etc.). If the product was bought as part of a campaign – with another product added to it – you must return the whole set (all products).

6.5

You must bear the direct costs of returning the goods handed over as the subject of the contract (postage), unless otherwise agreed with the Seller.

For both dry food and canned food, please be sure to observe the necessary storage conditions (keep dry food at room temperature in non-humid conditions, close packages once opened, keep opened cans in the refrigerator, etc.)

7. Privacy and data security

Eesti Vallasvara OÜ does not disclose the Buyer's personal data to third parties, except for the information necessary for providing the transport service and for making payments (mediated by Maksekeskus).
